Can I save my weak staining batch?

So I have figured out quit a bit in the last couple of weeks trying to mix henna but I do have one question.

I had a batch that has a VERY weak stain just a light tan about the color I would love to be all over and I am white.  I waited for every about 36 hours for the dye to release but I am thinking that the temp was not constent enough to get a good release.  I put it in the freezer anyway and figured that I could just use it on paper, but then I read some ones post that said they get their henna on the verge of dye release and then freeze it so I am now wondering is there hope for this batch?  What can I do that might make it work?  I know it is not the henna because I finally got it right and the last batch although not sticky enough gave me a very nice stain.  What is my next step with the weak batch?  Can it be saved or just used on paper.

Thanks,

Amy

AMy,

It would help if we had a step by step of your recipe, and time and temperature.

We find that Jamila works perfectly well every time with the KISS recipe/temperature/time control.

It have never failed us yet.ANd remember if you are using the recipe and Jamila, it will also take up to 48 hours to fully darken on the skin too. IT is fun to watch it mature over the day or two and finally achieve its peak!

Are you leaving the paste on the skin for 4 or more hours? and cleaning the skin before application, and where on the body are you applying it?

I took the weak stuff out of the freezer and left it on the counter all day and last night.  This morning I tried a bit on my palm and ta da it left a nice orange spot.  Also I just terped my new batch with the Agean Dream and added a bit of sweet orange to it WOW I love the smell.  Tonight I will see if I got the sugar right so it sticks.  I can't wait.
