how to use cassia

Hello...since im a newbie still have lots to learn.....is cassia when used in henna keeps color from getting too dark..is it to keep it more on the coppery side? And how is it prepared...is it mixed first then added to henna paste?...or can it be mixed together dry then proceed with dye release as normal?....still in process of lightening my length because im trying to get ss much dark brown dye off as possible..I luv the copperyred color..want to acheive that......thank you for your input and time=)

Mixing Cassia

Hello,

You can mix Cassia and henna together and dye release as normal. Cassia will make henna lighter, but any natural dye will not turn your base hair color a lighter shade.

Yes, you can lighten you hair

Yes, you can lighten you hair before using henna. depending on how light you go, you could do just henna instead of henna and cassia. Henna on bleached hair tends to be quite coppery.

Here's the chapter on henna and lightening. It's actually my face on the cover. :)
