Coconut milk and indigo mix
Hi all, long time no see. I haven't been on for a few years. I think when the forum boards setup changed is about the time I stopped hennaing. I'm back, but instead of just henna i am going to add indigo to my mix. I will release the henna with lemon water, but indigo, since its drying i was thinking mixing that with full fat Coconut milk? This will be a 1 step process. I want more brown than black. Am also gonna add amla to my henna, do i need any lemon juice to dye release the henna or is the amla enough? Thanks

Re: Coconut milk and indigo mix
You can add the amla powder to your henna powder, then use water as your liquid. Amla replaces the acidity in lemon.

Indigo is kinda fragile and doesn't like to be messed with. Unless some else speaks up to say coconut water has worked great with indigo for them, I would mix with just waster, and do a separate moisturizing treatment a couple days later.
