An artificial body doesn't have those pesky flaws (mature content)

(mature content and potentially disturbing)

Every living creature is flawed, and the flaws can be downright pesky.  Here are two essays on a sculptor who creates "anatomically correct" flawless silicone companions.

These silicone companions are based on what his clients desire, and his own sculpting of the "perfect parter" form:  what does this tell us about the difference between morphological reality of the human body vs the "Californian cultural construction" of the ideal body?  (I say California, because that's mentioned in the title, and I wonder how different these dolls would be if the financial epicenter of that industry was some other place and time.)

The sculptor has plenty body work on himself, too! This is definitely someone who thinks a lot about the arts of the altered body!

Here is a documentary about these dolls and their... well, let's say  - their real life (film contains scenes and material with mature content and potentially disturbing):

What has to be the measure of loneliness or feeling lost in life to live with dolls?
