Possible Allergy to Indigo?

I recently did the 2 step process on my 80% gray hair. I have previously used a demi-permanent color on my hair about 5 weeks ago. I applied the henna with no problem. When I applied the Indigo and left it on for about 45 min. I started getting a headache.  Now 3 days later I have a rash on my neck where my hair touches it. 

The color is a medium brown which I am happy with but now I don't know how I can maintain the color w/o using Indigo to hide the gray roots.   I did not use your products. I am  hoping this will fade.

I am definitely a newbie.

Any suggestions?  :(

In the past I've gotten a migrane many times with indigo until I finally realized it was not the application on my head, it was the mixing it together and inhaling the dry powder. 

Now I wet it and mix it carefully as to not lift the powder in the air and I haven't had a migraine the last two times I've used it.  The more carefully it is mixed, the less likely you'll inhale it possibly preventing a migraine or headache. 

I can't comment about the rash since the only rashes I've had before were due to the plastic being to tight around my head or scratching too much after taking it off.  Hope this helps...
