Oh, will they ever learn?

Here's the picture of Pete Burns or of what was Bete Burns or... what he has done to himself:

For those who do not remember - this is what he was once:

What has happened to his face - with all other things - all injections and fillers have made her face-skin tissue separate from muscles.
When beauty surgery started with filling-injections in the beginning of 20th century they used petrolatum. Result was - it gathered into weird-formed clumps that started to 'wonder' around the skin.
Same thing has happenes with breast-fillings made with paraffine some decade or two ago.

Have you ever wonder what is going on on these people's heads?
Do they really beileve into almightiness of surgery?
What could be the picture they see as themselves from mirror?
Do you think haveing a newer trimmed look is as natural as buying a new sofa when your living-room looks a but dusty and grey?

If you look at the main page of awfulplasticsurgery.com you find a link to Janice Dickinson's pics and she is who declares - I am perfect and that is thanks to beauty-surgery.
When does perfection turn into imperfection or even monstrocity?
Faye Dunaway? Joycelin Wildenstein? Dolly Parton?

Mayeb it is time to rename beauty-surgery formally again - plastic-surgery. As it makes people look plastic. Plastic as material or surface. Not as flexibility.

Well - this is something from the same opera:

I think this kind of a result appeared firstly somewhere 100 years ago when somebody hoped to correct wrinckles with injecting petrolatum jelly (white jelly?) into the faces of vain women. One of most famous first victims was Consuelo Vanderbilt, the duchess of Marlborough, who was was said to be the most beautiful woman in the world (in the beginning of 20th century) and who started to have paraffin injections somewhere mid 1930ies. Result was that paraffin just wondered around her face, deforming her that much she withdrew from society, remining a recluse until her death in 1977.
