Jamila Summer Crop 2010 problem

I've mixed up a few batches of this henna as I usually do with other Jamilla crops in the past and I've noticed it seems to take longer for dye release and doesn't seem to stain as long as other crops. Has anyone else experienced this? I've done the exact same mix, method I've always used ( lemon juice, dextrose, tea tree and geranium essential oils).

Jamila '10 argh!! Yes I totally agree that it seems to take a LONG time to release, I made a batch last week and it took 15hrs to release while '09 was releasing in like 8hrs. Although I have to say I did get good stains that seem to be lasting fairly well and the stain seems to be the same colour from the top of my hand up my arm (palm of course went darker but wore off quicker then expected).

I am just not loving '10 but it sure as hell beats that crap from '08!!

The odd years tend to be better so far, IME! Sure, there's no scientific justification for that, but it sure SEEMS to be true, don't it?!

I join in your wistful-ness for but for '09 *sigh* Oh henna how I love thee but that you too :( dang those agrcultural products!! lol

I should mention though that I am having some serious results from '10 so maybe it's just shy about dye release?
