Will henna take on 60% 40% Polyester??

I got a henna "pillow" request to henna his and his wife, baby's name on a pillow.. What they provided is not what I am used to working on (skin, silk).. Please advise- as I am charging for my work!!!

I've never tried it personally, but my educated guess is it would probably work but might come out splotchy.  Then again, if it's not supposed to be washed, it might be okay.  Why don't you find some similar fabric, and give it a try?

The cotton content will stain, the polyester won't, so I don't think you'd get a very good result.  Better to ask the client for an all natural fiber pillow or pillow sham so they can have the best result possible.  And yes, the Captcha passwords are case sensitive :)
