Celebration Henna tips for using?

I have been away for quite awhile ( pc was an expensive fix) and spent a great deal of time reading older threads ( half a pound bag of almond m+ms later....) and still havent quite caught-up with a few Q's I have. Id love to hear your experiences!

I am familiar with Purity.Loved it.

I got excited to see Celebration had a higher dye content.

Curious to know differences between the two...

How did having more lawsone content affect your work? Or did it?

Experiences with mixing, did your recipes need altering?

Any stringiness to it?

Dye release times?

Can anyone tell me around-when the newest season's batch will be out?

I don't really find it to be stringy at all.

The dye release is fast and even a little inconsistant. Start watching for dye release at room temperature, even with a lemon juice mix, in 5-10 hours! Sometimes it takes longer, but often its VERY quick.

It seems to take a bit longer for the color to mature, but when it does... boy does it!

As for new stuff -I know there's irons in the fire, but I don't really have any details or an ETA just yet.

thanks,Jen...much appreciated!

I live in a warm humid climate so this one will have to be watched. Since its not stringy at all I may have to add sugar(dextrose from here), something I dont do often anymore because its just so darn hot and humid that the paste never dries (great stain though, guess there are pros to it).
