I have a recurring dry, itchy scalp, and would like to try a medicated shampoo to treat it. I have found options that are safe for color treated hair, but I know that henna is different from other dyes. Does anyone know if any scalp/dandruff reatments, such as pyrithione zinc, will fade or change my henna?

We have not tested the effect of a medicated dandruff shampoo over Ancient Sunrise Henna. If the shampoo is medicated for dandruff and says that it is color safe, it should be fine.
