Ruined?

Hello ~

I recently moved and there were some unforeseen problems during the move, long story short - my henna, amla, and indigo were all in a box for a week + in a vehicle with temperatures ranging from mid-40's to mid-80's - I'm assuming everything is ruined?

Is there any chance it would be ok and it would be worth testing?

Thank you!

Ruined

Hello,

You can test the henna and indigo by mixing a small amount of powder with distilled water and letting it sit on a paper towel for 20 minutes. If the henna starts to bleed orange around the edges and the indigo turns a nice blue color than they are still good.

Amla

Hello,

As long as the Amla did not get wet,  it should still be fine. You can test it by mixing it with the henna and letting it sit for dye release. As long as you get a nice orange stain, your amla and henna are good.
