Becoming moonlight as a seal

Has anyone used the becoming moonlight gilding as a seal for henna paste?  I see that other kinds of gilding are used as seals, but I haven't seen examples of this one.  If so, how did it work and how did you go about it?  Does it last too long to work as a seal?

It doesn't seem like it would work well to me. Yes, it sticks too well and lasts too long. You'd find yoruself scrubbing the glue off to get the paste off. Scrubbing right at paste removal is probably worse than the paste coming off prematurely! Also, I'm not sure of the pH of the glue and if it would interfere with henna.

I do think that it would make a remarkable resist! Paint a pretty design with that, then spread henna paste over it. As the becoming moonlight wears off you'd be left with a reversed design in henna!

Hm, that does sound like a good idea.  I have never done resist.  This might be the perfect opportunity to try it :)
